If we could do it all over again, we would take a completely different approach —one that would have not only cost much less but, most importantly, actually saved us money and give us comfort along the way. No. It has been around for decades. It fell into the background once Solar became more popular. But now, electrical companies are changing to more Demand-based plans. Solar isn't very efficient with Demand Plans. This is why many new Solar customers are unhappy with their savings or are not saving at all. With Demand Management, you can control your comfort, usage, and savings! Interesting Fact: Good solar reps will include Demand Managers with every Solar installation because it guarantees savings, not the solar. So that brings the question: then why get the solar panels? And that is precisely what we are trying to show everybody.
Inergy is the leader in Demand Management. It is located right here in the valley and works directly with the local utility companies. Constantly updating and modifying its products, it is years ahead of the competition.
Once you understand how it all works, it becomes apparent. Remember, Demand Plans are the cheapest plans available. If you get solar and/or batteries first, you'll likely be put on a Demand Plan. Since solar energy depends on roof space and weather, and only work when the sun is up; it is unreliable when controlling Demand. And with batteries, the cost to make them effective would eliminate any chance of savings. Plus, they will need to be replaced occasionally, leading to more costs. So that leaves you with Demand Management. It is not weather-dependent, which makes it reliable; it costs less than solar and batteries, which gives you affordability, and its sole purpose is to control Demand, which will provide you with the savings you want. Fun Fact: The Demand plans have the cheapest electricity. So if you can control your Demand, you can get all the cheap electricity you want! Which means you could run your AC more. Who wouldn't want a cooler house in the middle of a Phoenix summer?
